A nanodispersed solid solution based on the Ce0,72Zr0,18Pr0,1O2-δ crystal lattice was synthesized by co-precipitation followed heat treatment. The identification of material carried out X-ray phase analysis, energy dispersive photoelectron spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, low-temperature nitrogen adsorption, and gas chromatography. It has been established that is superior in catalytic activity thermal stability to CeO2 Ce0,8Zr0,2O2 due doping with Pr+3 ions.
Carbon structures formed after plasma-induced liquid phase pyrolysis of hydrocarbons were studied. We studied the products petroleum refining: fuel oil, heavy catalytic cracking residue, and individual organic substances: furfural, cyclohexane, hexane, isooctane, benzene. The plasma unit generated direct current discharge through graphite electrodes. Elemental composition source materials resulting solid residues was evaluated. Additional heat treatment carried out at 900, 1500 28000C in...
Thermal conductivity of carbon fibers used as reinforcements is a very important property that defines effectiveness composite materials for heat insulation and heatsink applications. Nevertheless, no thermal data are available many commercial from both the manufacturers’ datasheets academic sources; this fact may be linked with measurement problems yarn- filament-like specimens. In present study we assess possibility to evaluate known Young’s moduli based on empirical correlations...
The carbon fiber (CF) of UMT 49-12K-ER grade, manufactured by Alabuga-Volokno LLC (Umatex JSC), was the subject an extensive study. This investigation encompassed analysis its physico-chemical properties. interplanar dimensions and chemical composition CF were determined using X -ray diffraction atomic emission spectroscopy. Surface properties CF, including specific surface area pore size distribution, investigated through nitrogen adsorption. BET measured at 0.29 m 2 /g. volume mesopores...
