This work provides an efficient way to facilitate both electron and hole extraction in the designated interfaces of perovskite solar cells. A record power conversion efficiency 23.6% for mixed Sn–Pb cell devices is realized.
Abstract The toxicity of lead perovskite hampers the commercialization perovskite-based photovoltaics. While tin is a promising alternative, facile oxidation tin(II) to tin(IV) causes high density defects, resulting in lower solar cell efficiencies. Here, we show that tin(0) nanoparticles precursor solution can scavenge impurities, and demonstrate this treatment leads effectively tin(IV)-free films with strong photoluminescence prolonged decay lifetimes. These are generated by selective...
Mixed lead-tin (Pb-Sn) halide perovskites with optimum band gaps near 1.3 eV are promising candidates for next-generation solar cells. However, the performance of cells fabricated Pb-Sn is restricted by facile oxidation Sn(ii) to Sn(iv), which induces self-doping. Maltol, a naturally occurring flavor enhancer and strong metal binding agent, was found effectively suppress Sn(iv) formation passivate defects in mixed perovskite films. When used combination scavenging, maltol surface treatment...
The wide band gaps of bromide-containing tin perovskites, ASnI3–xBrx, make them attractive materials for use as the top-layer absorber in tandem solar cells, well single-junction cells indoor applications. In present work, a series ASnI3–xBrx films was systematically fabricated by varying A-site (FA+, MA+, and Cs+) X-site (I– Br–) ions. solvent-coordinated SnBr2 complex high-purity source bromide combined with Sn(IV) scavenging treatment helps to ensure that optimal film quality across...
Organic semiconducting materials that are optically transparent in the near-ultraviolet (NUV) region from 300 to 400 nm needed for advanced perovskite devices such as bifacial semitransparent and tandem solar cells. In this study, three organic materials, HND-NAr2, HND-DTP, HND-Cbz, were designed synthesized by introducing bis(4-methoxyphenyl)amine, dithieno[3,2-b:2′,3′-d]pyrrole, carbazole, respectively, into head position of partially oxygen-bridged triphenylamine skeletons. The...
Abstract In this paper, we propose a system that enables smooth communication by online management of interpersonal relations in commu- nity units such as those based on hobbies, clubs, and university classes. Communication without various intermingling relationships is enabled making groups community sizes forms. It also possible for each group to set up its own username profile, display information exchange messages with select audience. Through six-day usage experiment, the participants’...
Abstract Carrier extraction is a key issue which limits the efficiency of perovskite solar cells. In this work, carrier improved by modifying layers with combination ethylenediammonium diiodide post-treatment and glycine hydrochloride additive. Ethylenediammonium dications primarily affect top surface films, while glycinium cations preferentially accumulate at bottom region. The interface modifications improve crystallinity films lower density electrical traps via passivation effects,...

A new specimen of a pinniped humerus was found from the middle Miocene Fujina Formation, Shimane, Japan. It identified as Allodesminae gen. et sp. indet. based on morphological description and comparisons with allodesmine humeri. The results suggest that there is variation in features within this group. This discovery revealed allodesmines had already expanded along north-to-south coastal regions early stage back-arc spreading Sea According to summary Japanese allodesmines, these pinnipeds...
