Adjustment to energy starvation is crucial ensure growth and survival. In Arabidopsis thaliana (Arabidopsis), this process relies in part on the phosphorylation of circadian clock regulator bZIP63 by SUCROSE non-fermenting RELATED KINASE1 (SnRK1), a key mediator responses low energy. We investigated effects mutations plant carbon (C) metabolism growth. Results from phenotypic, transcriptomic metabolomic analysis mutants prompted us investigate starch accumulation pattern expression genes...
• Premise of the study: We developed first microsatellites for Passiflora setacea and characterized new sets markers P. edulis cincinnata , enabling further genetic diversity studies to support conservation breeding passion fruit species. Methods Results: 69 microsatellite and, in conjunction with assessments cross‐amplification using primers available from literature, present 43 polymorphic loci three species . The mean number alleles per locus was 3.1, values expected observed levels...
Passiflora species are distributed throughout Latin America, and Brazil Colombia serve as the centers of diversity for this genus. We performed cross-species amplification to evaluate 109 microsatellite loci in 14 estimated genetic structure cincinnata, setaceae edulis. A total 127 accessions, including 85 accessions P. edulis, a commercial species, 42 13 wild were examined. The was effective obtaining (average cross-amplification 70%). average number alleles per locus (five) relatively low,...
We investigated 10 similarity (and disimilarity) coefficients in a set of 40 wild genotypes Croton linearifolius subjected to analyses using hierarchical grouping methods, methods by optimization and data projection two-dimensional space.Genotypes were characterized analyzing DNA polymorphism with the use 15 ISSR 12 RAPD markers. The distance measurements compared Spearman correlation test, twodimensional space efficiency evaluation. The between evaluated ©FUNPEC-RP www.funpecrp.com.br
Abstract Phytohormone signaling is fine-tuned by regulatory feedback loops. The phytohormone abscisic acid (ABA) plays key roles in plant development and abiotic stress tolerance. PYRABACTIN RESISTENCE 1/PYR1-LIKE/REGULATORY COMPONENT OF ABA RECEPTOR (PYR/PYL/RCAR) receptors sense ABA, turn, represses their expression. Conversely, induces expression of type 2C PROTEIN PHOSPHATASES (PP2C) genes, which negatively regulate the pathway. This scheme likely important for modulating signaling....
ABSTRACT Hormone signaling fine-tuning involves feedback regulatory loops. Abscisic acid (ABA) plays key functions in development and tolerance to abiotic stress. ABA is sensed by the PYR/PYL/RCAR receptors it also represses their gene expression. Conversely, induces PP2C phosphatases expression, which are negative regulators of pathway. This scheme likely important for modulation signal transduction. Here, we provide a new insight into mechanisms underlying ABA-induced control expression...
