This study systematically assesses the process mining scenario from 2005 to 2014. The analysis of 705 papers evidenced 'discovery' (71%) as main type addressed and 'categorical prediction' (25%) task solved. most applied traditional technique is 'graph structure-based' ones (38%). Specifically concerning computational intelligence machine learning techniques, we concluded that little relevance has been given them. are 'evolutionary computation' (9%) 'decision tree' (6%), respectively....
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a potentially debilitating mental health which affects an important minority of people exposed to events involving actual or threatened death, serious injury sexual violence. The COVID-19 pandemic unfortunately providing multiple opportunities for experience traumatic situations may lead PTSD. Imagine the previously fit person who rapidly goes from active lifestyle chemical induced coma, surviving only after weeks on mechanical ventilator. Or nurse...
Background: It is well established that veterans suffering from mental health difficulties under use services. Objective: This study aimed to understand more about the barriers prevent seeking professional help and enablers assist in help. also explore potential mechanisms improve veterans' help-seeking pathways care.Method: The employed a qualitative design whereby 17 who had recently attended specialist veteran services took part semi-structured interviews. resultant data were analysed...
While academic institutions maintain records such as transcripts and certificates, they are often requested to share these with other at the request of students for credit transfer, or prerequisites acceptance into new programs. transfer is a regular daily activity institutions, there significant overhead involved process verification extremely manual. The need an automated end-to-end solution between on edge reduce wait times their records, well provide reliable method avoid fraud. This...
Despite well over two decades of academic research, situation awareness in complex collaborative environments remains ambiguous. Recent systems-based models distributed have attempted to address this; however, further effort is required clarifying exactly how operates socio-technical systems. One pertinent issue regards what the 'distributed' situational picture looks like from perspective each component system and it differs amongst team members. Is same 'shared' across members, or do they...
Abstract This article presents a prototypical model of how decision making can proceed within an environment, independent situation or actor. Based upon Rasmussen's decision-ladder, approach for capturing formative descriptions existing decision-making processes is presented. The example land-based combat identification used to demonstrate this approach. Two new representations are introduced aid domain understanding and support the design tools. first maps links between information...
A smart toy is defined as a device consisting of physical component that connects to one or more computing services facilitate gameplay in the cloud through networking and sensory technologies enhance functionality traditional toy. this context can be effectively considered an Internet Things (IoT) with Artificial Intelligence (AI) which provide Augmented Reality (AR) experiences users. In paper, first assumption children do not understand concept privacy know how protect themselves online,...
Background: It is often claimed that military veterans are reticent to seek help for mental disorders, even though delayed treatment may impair recovery and impact the wellbeing of those close veteran. Objective: This paper aims explore barriers facilitators accessing professional health support three groups who met criteria a probable disorder and: (1) do not recognize disorder; (2) they affected by but seeking support; or (3) currently support.Method: Qualitative telephone interviews were...
Abstract Understanding why an individual acted in a certain way is of fundamental importance to the human factors community, especially when choice action results undesirable outcome. This challenge typically tackled by applying retrospective interview techniques generate models what happened, recording deviations from 'correct procedure'. While such approaches may have great utility tightly constrained procedural environments, they are less applicable complex sociotechnical systems that...
