The interactions between glycopolymer brushes and lectin are very important for the development of affinity membrane chromatography in protein separation. Here, we report combination surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization (SI-ATRP) surface plasmon resonance (SPR) to investigate relationship structure adsorption lectin. were fabricated from self-assembly 11-mercapto-1-undecanol (MUD)/1-undecanethiol (UDT) mixture, immobilization ATRP initiators, then SI-ATRP...
For separation of the azeotrope isobutyl acetate and alcohol, imidazolium-based ionic liquids 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate [Hmim][PF6] 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium [Omim][PF6] were applied as extractants in extraction process. The liquid–liquid equilibrium (LLE) data for ternary systems + alcohol ([Hmim][PF6]/[Omim][PF6]) determined at temperature 298.15 308.15 K. To evaluate performance ILs, selectivity distribution coefficient calculated from experimental data. effect...
The composites containing SiC and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) were synthesized via the reaction of Si powders MWCNTs induced by that Na sulfur. MWCNT-SiC prepared at 600 °C exhibit excellent microwave absorbing properties, which reach a minimum reflection loss -38.7 dB frequency around 12.9 GHz. properties are bound up with high yield porous spheres comprised nanocrystals. structure, density stacking faults in crystallites, interfaces between spheres, grain boundaries nanocrystals,...
Patterned biohybrid films show great potential for application in biosensing, bioconversion, and biochips. Their preparation generally involves a multistep procedure including patterned film fabrication biomolecule immobilization. Here, we report one-step approach to well-ordered protein-containing by the self-assembly of reverse emulsion (water-in-oil), which was stabilized an amphiphilic block copolymer polystyrene-block-poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (PS-b-PHEMA). We investigated...
Abstract Meshy boron nitride (BN) was synthesized by the reaction of NaBH 4 and CS(NH 2 ) at 550 °C for 10 h. X‐ray diffraction indicates formation hexagonal (h‐BN) with lattice constants a = 2.501 c 6.724 Å. Observations TEM show that BN obtained has meshy structure quantity pores distributing on each mesh. The nitrogen adsorption–desorption test gives high surface area 220 m g –1 BN. cathode‐luminescence spectrum exhibits strong peak 354 nm in ultraviolet range. Thermogravimetric analysis...
We present a detailed picture to screen general ligands from simple chemicals for fabricating affinity surface glycosidase enzymes. The was constructed by grafting poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) (PHEMA) brush on SPR gold chip via surface-initiated atom-transfer radical polymerization, after which poly(methoxyethyl (PMEMA) and poly(oligo(ethylene glycol) (POEGMA) brushes were also prepared comparison. measurements adopted monitor the early-stage adsorption of two glycosidases three other...
β‐SiC nanowires were synthesized at a temperature as low 150°C by the reaction of Si and graphite induced an additional between Na S. Characterization X‐ray diffraction, high‐resolution transmission electron microscopy, IR spectra, Raman spectra demonstrates formation curly with several millimeters in length 50–70 nm diameter. Also, prominent peak 387 is observed visible photoluminescence emission. Besides temperature, molar ratio S to (or graphite) has significant influence on synthesis SiC...
