We investigated the spatiotemporal changes in strain associated with occurrence of slow slip events (SSEs) subduction zones Japanese Islands and compared spatial distribution both amount accumulated for period before during SSEs release using time series data from Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). In this study, four were analysed: Tokai long-term SSE (2000-2005), Boso-Oki short-term (2007), Bungo Channel (2009-2011 2018-2019). As a result, we found strong negative correlations all...

Abstract In this study, we investigated the relationship between strain accumulation before a slow slip event (SSE) and release during SSE for three recent SSEs along Suruga Trough, Sagami Nankai which are subduction zones in central to southwest Japan. The analysed were 2013–2016 Tokai long-term (L-SSE), 2018 Boso-Oki short-term (S-SSE), 2019–2021 Central Shikoku L-SSE. We applied exponential logarithmic functions remove postseismic deformations caused by Mw 9.0 2011 Tohoku-Oki earthquake....

Abstract Using horizontal and vertical GNSS time series data from the GSI in sotheastern Kyushu January 1, 2017 to June 30, 2022, we detected a recent long-term slow slip event (L-SSE) that occurred Hyuga-nada region, southwest Japan, estimated its spatiotemporal distribution. We performed such analysis considering piecewise evolution of over with windows 0.8 years ensure good signal-to-noise ratio displacements each window. The results showed more than 2 cm central part Miyazaki Prefecture...

Abstract We used Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) time series data to estimate the spatiotemporal slip distribution for a long-term slow event (L-SSE) that occurred in Tokai region, central Japan, from 2012 2016. Since all GNSS were affected by postseismic deformation associated with 2011 Mw9.0 Tohoku-Oki earthquake, we removed such signal of three components at each stations. The minimal window an inversion analysis was set 0.5 years (6 months), taking into account signal-to-noise...

Content servers have become burdened by the transfer of large content sets such as high-definition video and music. To mitigate this problem, we propose a Mapping Server with Cache-location Resolution Cache Suppression (MSCR/CS), which suppresses unnecessary duplication popular contents in network caches.Simulations show that MSCR/CS decreases content-server loads.

The properties of the commercially pure titanium seamless pipe, manufactured by inclined rolling, process, was investigated in comparison with pipe conventional hot extrusion process. results were as follows.( 1 ) without surface defects successfully rolling process. The reheated and finish rolled alpha phase temperature, had a good equiaxed structure after annealing heat treatment.( 2 Post annealed tensile pipes satisfied ASTM specification regardless reheating temperatures. pipes, which...

Molding dies of hard and brittle materials such as hardened steels or WC were usually ground by resinoid bonded diamond wheel. Recently, cutting process needs to be short easy applying cutting. In this study, a new micro milling tool PCD was developed basic characteristics researched in WC. And feasibility study precision fresnel carried out. From the experimental results, mirror surface sharp edge obtained. It is clarified that can done with tool.

Ti-6Al-4V seamless pipe was manufactured by the inclined rolling process to take advantage of its higher productivity than conventional hot extrusion process. Properties rolled investigated. Also, pipes, extruded at alpha+beta phase temperature and beta temperature, were compared each other. The successfully applied produce pipes. pipes possessed uniform fine accicular microstructure no surface flaws. balance between 0.2% proof stress elongation optimum in pipe, followed extrude with...
