We report a tunable, high-energy, single-pass optical parametric generator (OPG) based on the nonlinear material, cadmium silicon phosphide, CdSiP(2). Femtosecond operation of passively mode-locked Nd, La:CaF <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sub> and La:SrF lasers pumped by low power laser diodes at 790 nm was investigated.
