A treatment case of a child aged 14 y. o. with pleural empyema against the background severe organic brain damage and resistant epilepsy was presented. Considering premorbid background, unsuccessful attempts using drainage thoracoscopic sanitation cavity, underwent recurrent cavity hydrosurgical unit. Treatment results show high effectiveness this method in 3 stage when other methods are less effective there limitations related to rehabilitation activities due status child.
