The objective of this study is to examine the expression levels ezrin and moesin proteins from a molecular immunohistochemical standpoint following administration terebinth oil in rats with ovarian ischemia- reperfusion injury. A total 32 female Sprague-Dawley were utilized study. randomly assigned one four groups, eight each group: control, ischemia, I/R, I/R+-terebinth oil. Following induction torsion, treatment group received 2 ml.kg-1 orally via gavage once daily for 28 d. At conclusion...

Introduction Alzheimer’s disease (AD), the most prevalent type of dementia among older individuals, is characterized by severe neurodegeneration with symptoms progressive loss cognitive capacity. We aimed to investigate effects curcumin (Curc) and Inula viscosa (IV) plant extracts on apoptosis oxidative stress in an amyloid-β (Aβ)-induced vitro AD model. Material methods The human glioblastoma cell line (U87) was treated Aβ produce Treatment groups were: + Curc, IV, IV...

Nicotine, the main toxic component of tobacco, directly or indirectly causes adverse effects on liver metabolism. Melatonin, secreted by pineal gland, has anti-apoptotic activity as well antioxidant activity. The aim this study was to reveal antiapoptotic melatonin in rats with experimentally induced chronic damage nicotine. In study, 32 male Wistar albino were divided into four groups: control, melatonin, nicotine and nicotine+melatonin. During experiment, (1 mg/kg) (10 administered daily...

Abstract The objective of this study was to examine the occurrence and characteristics ciprofloxacin‐resistant (Cip R ) Escherichia coli isolates on bulk tank milk (BTM) samples (bovine ovine origins) in Turkey. A total 91 BTM (41.7%, 95% confidence intervals 35.2–48.6%) out 218 were found be positive for Cip E. (MIC values ≥4 μg/ml). Analysis PFGE fingerprint profile resulted 55 different pulsotypes based >85% homology. All resistant enrofloxacin nalidixic acid resistance rates bovine...

The aim of this study is to investigate the therapeutic and protective effects Pistacia terebinthus L. (terebinth) oil treatment on experimental ovarian ischemia reperfusion injury in rats. In study, 32 Sprague-Dawley female rats; They were divided into 4 groups: control, ischemia, ischemia/reperfusion (I/R), + terebinth (I/R oil), 8 each group. Terebinth was applied via oral gavage at a daily dose 2 ml/kg for weeks. histopathological examination sections, control group showed regular...
