The paper is dealing with the effects of flat high-speed water jet on concretes affected by high temperature. Research should help to correct use technology in repair works concrete structures especially after wildfires tunnels, underground garages, etc., which are exposed enormous thermal stress. Four mixtures were prepared for tests interaction concrete. samples 200 °C and 600 comparison one third left unaffected. It was found, that both lower traversing velocity (cutting speed) higher...

Presented article is focused on surface integrity evaluation of brass CW614N form the sight topography, structural changes in layers and strengthening character subsurface after impact acoustically excited pulsating water jet (PWJ). Surface topography was evaluated using optical profilometry. Structural layer were observed based mass material removal Δm [mg/s] maximal depth penetrance PWJ hmax [mm]. Nano indentation measurement according to Berkovich used examination layer. Disintegration...

Pulsating water jet technology for rock erosion application has been emphasized in this study. The phenomena are explored as an eroded depth, width and volume of the sandstone at frequency f = 20,000–40,000 Hz by using pulsed jet. surface was pressure 20–40 MPa; standoff distance 20 mm; nozzle diameter 1.6 feed rate 125–200 mm/s. width, sections were evaluated through non-contact-type optical profilometer. result shows relationship between jet, pressure, distance, which affects depth...

The paper investigates the effect of material machinability on quality cutting surfaces created by abrasive waterjet in selected aluminium alloys. texture studied was measured an optical profilometer and consequently assessed using standardized amplitude parameters profile roughness Ra, Rz Rq. It found that a surface is significantly influenced not only speed determined particular alloy but also its strength properties.
