A systematic study of Ti-Nb binary as-melt alloys has been carried out. The alloying content Nb varied from 10 wt % to 50 %. All were produced by vacuum arc melting in inert argon atmosphere and no further heat treatment was conducted research the structures. results indicate that below an 30 β-phase formed consist α'-phase, at Nb, or respectively, a mixture α' α"-phase 20 maximum hardness increases up peak 249 ± 6.95 HV0.05 decrease after it. compositions show higher microhardness than cp-Ti.
