This study describes comprehensive polling of transcription start and termination sites analysis previously unidentified full-length complementary DNAs derived from the mouse genome. We identify 5' 3' boundaries 181,047 transcripts with extensive variation in arising alternative promoter usage, splicing, polyadenylation. There are 16,247 new protein-coding transcripts, including 5154 encoding proteins. Genomic mapping transcriptome reveals transcriptional forests, overlapping on both...
For robots to become more popular for domestic applications, the short comings of current indoor navigation technologies have be overcome. In this paper, we propose use UWB-IR robot navigation. Various parts an actual implementation a based system such as architecture, RF sub-system design, antennas and localization algorithms are discussed. It is shown that by properly addressing various issues, error less than 25 cm can achieved at all points within realistic space.
• Background and Aims Plants can suffer from oxygen limitation during flooding or more complete submergence may therefore switch Kreb's cycle respiration to fermentation in association with the expression of anaerobically inducible genes coding for enzymes involved glycolysis fermentation. The aim this study was clarify mechanisms transcriptional regulation these anaerobic by identifying motifs shared their promoter regions.
The detection and mitigation of Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) signals are crucial for achieving the full potential UWB-based indoor positioning. In dense multipath industrial environments, it was seen that using power characteristics received signal to identify NLOS conditions is effective when tracking stationary objects but insufficient mobile object tracking. Hence, machine learning classifiers utilizing Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) Boosted Decision Trees (BDT) were developed improve...
Smartphones such as Android phones and iPhones are widely adopted worldwide the number of smartphone users has increased dramatically. With popularity smartphones, privacy challenged by various malware attacks. A large amount been developed spread Soundcomber, Screenmilker, TouchLogger, so on. In addition, some attacks based on physical access to phone like smudge All these have reminded current pay more attention for security installing anti-malware software defend against malicious apps,...
Abstract Background Mammalian antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are effectors of the innate immune response. A multitude signals coming from pathways mammalian pathogen/pattern recognition receptors and other proteins affect expression AMP-coding genes (AMPcgs). For many AMPcgs promoter elements transcription factors that control their tissue cell-specific have yet to be fully identified characterized. Results Based upon RIKEN full-length cDNA public sequence data derived human, mouse rat, we...
A typical wireless Electric Vehicle (EV) charging system consists of a transmitting coil at the station and receiving in vehicle. In order to achieve good separation between coils, magnetic resonance coupling instead conventional inductive is used these systems. The frequency characteristics power transfer efficiency for different offsets coils such resonance-based were investigated both theoretically experimentally. It was seen that if fixed used, very sensitive imperfect positioning...
We present Dragon TF Association Miner (DTFAM), a system for text-mining of PubMed documents potential functional association transcription factors (TFs) with terms from Gene Ontology (GO) and diseases. DTFAM has been trained tested in the selection relevant on manually curated dataset containing >3000 abstracts to control. On our test data achieves sensitivity 80% specificity 82%. provides comprehensive tabular graphical reports linking sets documents. These are color-coded easier...
A new technique of wirelessly transmitting electric energy to piezoelectric components is explored. The proposed method improves transfer efficiency by using the strongly coupled magnetic resonance as well mechanical component. In design, a printed spiral receiving coil connected across component used capture from fields generated source resonator. Experimentally, transmission enhanced when operating frequency field close power delivered depends on driving frequency, vibration modes plate,...
This paper proposes an accurate UWB multiple-cell localization system which adopts adaptive TDOA combination algorithm to reduce the uncertainty. The time difference of arrival (TDOA) is adaptively combined in such a way that only makes use best directional motion increments both random channel noise and geometric errors. Furthermore, maximum signal ratio (SNR) combining tracking error controlling are employed Unlike conventional equation solutions, avoids using nonlinear triangular...
The Saleh-Valenzuela (SV) model is used for modeling UWB propagation by the IEEE 802.15.3a and 802.15.4a standardization groups. A key step deriving SV from measured channel impulse response identification of clusters. In this paper, we propose a method non-ambiguous these Using results, show that parameters obtained using our methodology are consistent different sets measurements taken in same environment.
This paper analyzes the effect of proximal metallic objects on energy transfer efficiency magnetic resonance coupling based wireless charging systems for electric vehicles. It is observed from both experiment and simulation that optimum changes dramatically in presence a copper sheet close proximity to receiving coil. also seen be different physical spacing between transmitting coils. The results show vicinity coil have carefully considered each possible usage scenario order maintain good...
UWB-IR is an excellent choice for high precision indoor localization. However due to its short range, a multicell based implementation necessary cover large area. Such multi-cell systems require the use of robust techniques overcome issues that adversely affect localization accuracy at inter-cell boundaries. In this paper, used and experimental results obtained robot navigation system are discussed. A methodology on boundary detection path prediction proposed. Using proposed methodology, RMS...
There are challenges and opportunities in supporting the infrastructure for electric vehicle (EV) smart grid a dense urban city-state like Singapore. Automotive telematics which typically use cellular networks, can potentially be served by picocells of 5.9 GHz Dedicated Short Range Radio(DSRC) network intelligent transport system(ITS), connected to our national fiber (NG-NBN), provide up 1 Gbps every node (home, public lamp post, bus stop, etc). This integrated high speed enhance performance...
A compact wireless energy transfer scheme for delivering power to the implantable electronic devices has been presented here. The system is built by using a printed spiral receiving resonator with cylindrical source wirelessly through strongly coupled magnetic resonance. Experimentally, it found that efficiency reaches maximum at resonant frequency, and decreases increase of distance between receiver coils. proposed design significant advantage being easier implement biomedical applications...
Security researchers who jailbreak iOS devices have usually crowdsourced for system level vulnerabilities [1] iOS. However, their success has depended on whether a particular device owner encountered crash in system-level code. To conduct voluntary security testing, black-box fuzzing is one of the ideal low-cost and simple techniques to find less technical crowd. it not most effective method due large space. At same time, when mobile such as today's smartphones, extremely time consuming...
