This paper proposes a novel casing treatment, designated stall precursor-suppressed treatment. It is designed to suppress precursors realize margin enhancement in turbomachinery. first presents physical and mathematical model describe the treatment configuration as wall boundary condition then establishes stability equation with its effect. The sensitivity of inception different conditions considered numerically for both subsonic transonic axial flow fan/compressors. One important finding...

A stall inception model for transonic fan/compressors is presented in this paper. It can be shown that under some assumptions the solution of unsteady flow field consists pressure wave which propagates upstream or downstream, vortex and entropy convected with mean speed. By further using mode-matching technique applying conservation law conditions reflecting loss characteristics a compressor inlet outlet rotor stator blade rows, group homogeneous equations obtained from stability equation...

In-situ ceramics particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites are favored in the aerospace industry due to excellent properties. However, hard ceramic particles as reinforcement phase bring challenges machining. To study effect of in-situ TiB2 on machinability and surface integrity TiB2/2024 composite TiB2/7075 composite, milling experiments were performed, compared with conventional 2024 7075 alloys. clustered at grain boundaries dispersed inside alloy grains hinder dislocation movement...

Zak phases in two types of acoustic metamaterials with negative density or modulus are studied. Different from phononic crystals based on Bragg scattering, extraordinary performance originates local resonance. We find that the determined by resonances scatterers, side pipes, membranes. Additionally, it is observed topological transition points, symmetrical properties edge states, input impedances, and reflection forbidden bands all related to relationship can be used create surface states at...

Aiming at the problems of poor average fitness, low-risk prediction accuracy, high mean square error, evaluation precision, and long running time traditional sports event model methods, a method using principal component analysis (PCA) is proposed. Sports risk monitoring microbase deployed by ZigBee technology, data monitored packaged each base station. Optical fiber Ethernet are used to transmit management center complete collection events. After standardization, index system events...

There are various uncertain disturbances in the actual manufacturing environment, which makes dynamic multiobjective flexible scheduling problem of job shop (MDFJSP) become research focus field optimal scheduling. In this paper, MDFJSP environment temporary order insertion uncertainty is studied, and a scheme based on rescheduling index adaptive nondominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) proposed. First, mathematical model traditional improved, work center established. Then, existing...

This study investigated the relationships of systemic low-frequency oscillations (sLFOs) measured at different peripheral sites in resting state, during passive leg raising (PLR), and a paced breathing (PB) test. Twenty-five healthy subjects (21 to 57 years old; males: 13 females: 12) were recruited for these experiments. During experiments, fluctuations oxyhemoglobin concentration six (left right toes, fingertips, earlobes) using multichannel near-infrared spectroscopy instrument developed...

An acoustic metamaterial based on a fractal structure, the Koch curve, is designed to simultaneously realize slow and fast waves. Owing multiple transmitting paths in structure resembling waves travelling along different interfere with each other. Therefore, are created basis of resonance Koch-curve-shaped loop, meanwhile, even negative group velocities obtained due destructive interference two opposite phases. Thus, transmission wave can be freely manipulated Koch-curve shaped structure.

This paper investigates the microstructure, hardness, and corrosion behavior of AlCrxFeNi2Cu1.6 (x = 0.5, 1.5, 2.5) high entropy alloys (HEAs). There are two simple phases, face-centered cubic (FCC) body-centered (BCC) in all alloys. The result shows that Icorr decreases from 3.76 to 1.25 μA cm−2, breakdown potential (Eb) increases −0.155 −0.021 V with addition chromium. Microstructure corroded surface indicates number pits as increase chromium content. Cr element has capacity enhance resistance

Hollow boxes with their faces made up of elastic membranes are used to block acoustic waves. It is demonstrated that placing a cuboid membrane-type box inside pipe can effectively insulate waves even if the smaller than cross-section pipe. The sound insulation achieved within multiple frequency-bands below 500 Hz based on different mechanisms, which originate from coaction cavity, faces, and intervals between walls. Furthermore, by adjusting structural parameters establishing an array boxes,...
