Motived by time-reversal symmetry breaking and giant anomalous Hall effect in kagome superconductor \textit{A}V$_3$Sb$_5$ (\textit{A} = Cs, K, Rb), we carried out the thermal transport measurements on CsV$_3$Sb$_5$. In addition to effect, Nernst emerge. Interestingly, longitudinal conductivity $\kappa_{xx}$ largely deviates from electronic contribution obtained $\sigma_{xx}$ Wiedemann-Franz law. contrast, $\kappa_{xy}$ is roughly consistent with law contribution. All these results indicate...
Impurity pinning has long been discussed to have a profound effect on the dynamics of an incommensurate charge density wave (CDW), which would otherwise slide through lattice without resistance. Here, we visualize impurity evolution CDW in ${\mathrm{ZrTe}}_{3}$ using variable temperature scanning tunneling microscopy. At low temperatures, observe quasi-1D modulation moderately correlated positions, indicating weak pinning. As raise sample temperature, gets progressively weakened and...
Zintl-phase materials have attracted significant research interest owing to the interplay of magnetism and strong spin-orbit coupling, providing a prominent material platform for axion electrodynamics. Here, we report single-crystal growth, structure, magnetic electrical/thermal transport properties antiferromagnet layer compound β-EuIn
Abstract The thermal Hall effect (THE) is an important experimental probe of band topology and elementary excitations. Here, a large angle (THA) κ xy /κ xx ≈ 7 × 10 −3 discovered so far in ferrimagnetic spinel FeCr 2 S 4 conductivity (κ ) first structure reaching magnitude at 50 K with small magnetic field 0.1 T are reported. These results suggest the emergence nontrivial topological excitations . A THA spin caloritronics devices means that number can produce transverse signal. therefore...
CrP has many exotic physical properties due to a four-fold degenerate band crossing at the Y point of Brillouin zone, which is protected by nonsymmorphic symmetry space group. We carried out heat capacity, electrical and thermal transport measurements on extracted electron conductivity. Due difference in energy momentum relaxation time during electron–phonon inelastic scattering, normalized Lorentz number decreases below about 160 K. Below 25.6 K, begins recover, dominance elastic scattering...
