During a revision of the bryophyte collections in Herbarium Balkan Peninsula, Natural History Museum Belgrade (BEO) and University (BEOU), as well historical literature data, four bryophytes were identified new to flora Serbia, namely, mosses Fontinalis hypnoides, Leucobryum juniperoideum, Dicranum spurium hornwort Phaeoceros laevis. hypnoides is relatively recently recorded SW while juniperoideum are known from collections. The laevis was cited for SE Serbia 1907, but up now not found again.
