This is a report of case severe intraocular infammation associated with cytomegalovirus in an untreated HIV+ patient marked CD4 + T-cell depletion. The atypical presentation shown could confuse and delay the diagnosis. Early suspicion appropriate treatment (ganciclovir, valganciclovir, HAART) increase likelihood favourable outcome.
