Abstract The KAHVE Laboratory, at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey is home to an educational proton linac project. beam will originate from a 20 keV H+ source and be delivered two module Radio Frequency Quadrupole (RFQ) operating 800 MHz via low energy transport (LEBT) line. Currently, the design phase being over, commissioning stability tests are ongoing for beamline which already produced installed except RFQ manufactured. This work summarizes design, production test phases of ion...

The pair production of heavy fourth-generation quarks, which are predicted under the hypothesis flavor democracy, is studied using tree-level Monte Carlo generators and fast detector simulation. Two heavy-quark mass values, 500 750$\gev$, considered with assumption that fourth family mixes primarily two light families. It shown a clear signature will be observed in data collected by ATLAS detector, after first year low-luminosity running at Large Hadron Collider.

We propose a channel for the possible discovery of new charged leptons at Large Hadron Collider. The proposed final state contains three same-sign leptons, making this practically backgroundless. method is illustrated two different cases: 4-family standard model and grand unified theory based on E6 gauge group. An example study taking 250 GeV as lepton mass shows that in both models, about eight signal events can be expected 14 TeV center-of-mass energy with 1 fb−1 integrated luminosity....
