自然電位による鉄筋腐食状態の推定には様々な基準および提案があるが, 中性化による鉄筋腐食への適用性については必ずしも明確ではない. 本研究では, 中性化による鉄筋腐食状態を, 自然電位により推定する場合の問題点を明らかにすることを目的として, 促進中性化下の供試体を用いて実験を行った. その結果, 中性化を主因とする鉄筋腐食は, 塩害に基づき定められた既往の基準より貴な電位で始まり, その原因として鉄筋とコンクリートの界面の状態が塩害とは異なる可能性が高いこと, 中性化による場合には水セメント比やかぶりがコンクリート表面への散水による自然電位の変動に与える影響が大きいこと, 散水による自然電位の変化はコンクリート抵抗の変化との相関が高いことなどが明らかとなった.

When using cast-in inserts of pipes in molten metal with large melt/insert volume ratios, the pipe may suffer structural damage such as grain growth and excessive diffusion melt elements, even locally due to heat melt.
