Neural network has good self‐learning and adaptive capabilities. In this paper, a wavelet neural is proposed to be used solve the value problem of fractional differential equations (FDE). We construct (WNN) with structure 1 ×N× based on function give conditions for convergence given algorithm. This method uses truncated power series solution transform original equation into an approximate solution, then, using WNN, update parameters, finally get FDE solution. Simulation results prove validity WNN.
