A new method for calculating of gating systems complex configuration castings during die casting is proposed, which based on solving the inverse thermal problem using a mathematical model low-intensity cooling in mould. In calculation method, minimum possible overheating melt before pouring first set, and then consumption characteristics geometric parameters elements are determined.
A two-stage method for calculating of melt overheat losses in die casting is considered, which analytical methods are used at the first stage, and computational modeling second stage. It proposed stage to use a based on model low-intensity cooling mould. Theoretical calculations confirming possibility using this given. Comparison results estimation obtained by mould with showed their satisfactory coincidence.
