Logistics firms play a crucial role in overcoming time and distance constraints supply chain management. However, little is known about their location patterns. While the positive impact of firm productivity on survival is well documented, limited evidence exists geographic variations this relationship and services industries. We show that in knowledge intensive services, more strongly moderated core urban areas compared to suburban rural areas.
