Recent technological evolution enables Artificial Intelligence (AI) model training by users' mobile devices, which accelerates decentralized big data analysis. In particular, Federated Learning (FL) is a key enabler to realize AI update without user's privacy disclosure. However, since the behaviour of workers, who are assigned task, cannot be monitored, state-of-the-art methods require special hardware and/or cryptography force workers behave honestly, hinders realization. Private Ethereum blockchain-based systems are demanded in many industry sectors. However, the throughput performance of these does not meet their expectations. Many researchers have analyzed private blockchains, but studies failed to analyze root causes. In this paper, we perform a deep function-level bottleneck analysis for blockchain. Federated learning (FL) is a promising decentralized deep technique that allows users to collaboratively update models without sharing their own data. However, due its nature, no one can monitor workers' behavior, and they may thus deviate protocols (e.g., participating updating any models). To solve this problem, many researchers have proposed blockchain-enabled FL reward workers (or users) with cryptocurrencies encourage follow the protocols. there lack of theoretical discussions...
