We present precise photospheric parameters of 282 M dwarfs determined from fitting the most recent version PHOENIX models to high-resolution CARMENES spectra in visible (0.52 - 0.96 $\mu$m) and near-infrared wavelength range (0.96 1.71 $\mu$m). With its aim search for habitable planets around dwarfs, several different masses have been detected. The characterization target sample is important ability derive constrain physical properties any planetary systems that are As a continuation...

We investigate the relation between detection of 11.3 μ m polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) feature in nuclear (∼24−230 pc) regions 22 nearby Seyfert galaxies and properties cold molecular gas. For former we use ground-based (0.3−0.6″ resolution) mid-infrared (mid-IR) spectroscopy. The gas is traced by ALMA NOEMA high (0.2−1.1″) angular resolution observations CO(2–1) transition. Galaxies with a PAH contain more (median 1.6 × 10 7 M ⊙ ) have higher column densities ( N (H 2 = 23 cm −2...

The nearby ultra-compact multiplanetary system YZ Ceti consists of at least three planets. orbital period each planet is the subject discussion in literature due to strong aliasing radial velocity data. stellar activity this M dwarf also hampers significantly derivation planetary parameters. With an additional 229 measurements obtained since discovery publication, we reanalyze and resolve alias issues. We use model comparison framework Bayesian statistics periodogram simulations based on a...

Active galactic nucleus (AGN) driven outflows are believed to play an important role in regulating the growth of galaxies, mostly via negative feedback. However, their effects on hosts far from clear, especially for low- and moderate-luminosity Seyferts. To investigate this issue, we obtained cold molecular gas observations, traced by CO(2-1) transition, using NOEMA interferometer five nearby (distances between 19 58 Mpc) Seyfert galaxies. The resolution ∼0.3–0.8 (∼30–100 pc) field view...
