Abstract Neuromorphic computing applies concepts extracted from neuroscience to develop devices shaped like neural systems and achieve brain-like capacity efficiency. In this way, neuromorphic machines, able learn the surrounding environment deduce abstract make decisions, promise start a technological revolution transforming our society life. Current electronic implementations of architectures are still far competing with their biological counterparts in terms real-time...

In this paper, we discuss the existence of positive solutions for nonlocal q-integral boundary value problems fractional q-difference equations. By applying generalized Banach contraction principle, monotone iterative method, and Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem, some results are obtained. addition, examples to illustrate our given. In this paper, we study a class of fractional q-difference equations with nonhomogeneous boundary conditions. By applying the classical tools from functional analysis, sufficient conditions for existence single and multiple positive solutions to value problem are obtained in term explicit intervals term. addition, some examples illustrate our results given. We establish several new Lyapunov-type inequalities for some nonlinear difference system when the end-points are not necessarily usual zeros, but rather generalized zeros. Our results generalize in sense known ones. As an application, we develop disconjugacy criteria by making use of obtained inequalities. MSC:34D20, 39A99.

The object of this paper is to demonstrate the performance a Ramp-Rejecting electric Power Prefilter (RRPP), which modification Conventional (CPP) for speed-PSS. RRPP can markedly reduce undesirable swings in generator voltage and reactive power output due ramping turbine power. Like Dual Input (DIP) integral-of-accelerating-power (IAP) PSS (i) significantly attenuates torsional modes; (ii) enhances modal damping. Significantly, does not require an externally-estimated rotor-speed input...

We establish several Lyapunov‐type inequalities for quasilinear difference systems, which generalize or improve all related existing ones. Applying these results, we also obtain some lower bounds the first eigencurve in generalized spectra.

A class of planar cubic Kolmogorov systems with harvest and two positive equilibrium points is investigated. With the help computer algebra system MATHEMATICA, we prove that five limit cycles can be bifurcated simultaneously from critical (1, 1) (2, 2), respectively, in first quadrant. Moreover, necessary conditions centers are obtained.

In this paper, a class of fourth-order impulsive differential equations depending on two control parameters is investigated. The existence and multiplicity solutions are obtained by means the variational methods critical point theory. Finally, an example which supports our theoretical results also presented.

Contact force is a natural way for humans to interact with the physical world around us. However, most of our interactions digital are largely based on simple binary sense touch (contact or no contact). Similarly, when interacting robots perform complex tasks, such as surgery, richer information that includes both magnitude and contact location important task performance. To address these challenges, we present design fabrication WiForce which 'wireless' sensor, sentient location. achieves...

Abstract Conventional reliability tests for the evaluation of pad cratering resistance are mainly classified into two categories: board level test and joint test. The board-level is to imitate loading conditions during normal operation. However, this type expensive not flexible. used extensively in industry because it has advantages lower cost, higher throughput, more quantitative results. It also allows elimination confounding factors such as PCB component stiffness. Therefore, always...
