ABSTRACT In this study DTA and TGA were applied to some fossil fuels. Peat, lignite, bituminous coal, anthracite, oil shale asphaltite heated at a constant 15 °C/min up 1000 °C under nitrogen atmosphere. The DTG curves of the samples derived using TG curves. results are compared discussed.
