Abstract Central Asia, especially the Tian‐Shan and Pamir‐Alay, is a biodiversity hotspot for Hedysarum (Fabaceae) with high number of endemic species. However, to date, studies genus based on molecular data have included only few species distributed in this region. To fill gap, we analysed 110 species, 36 which were from Pamir‐Alay Mountains Asia. We performed phylogenetic analyses, divergence time estimates, biogeographic analyses using both internal transcribed spacers nuclear ribosomal...

With this paper we continue a new annual series, the main purpose of which is to make significant floristic findings from Russia and neighboring countries more visible in abroad. In total, presents records for 38 vascular plant species 7 Eurasian countries, obtained during field explorations, as well taxonomic revisions herbarium materials. For first time, locality Rochelia bungei recorded Europe West Kazakhstan Region Kazakhstan, Arnebia obovata China A. olgae China, Ballota nigra Asian...

Eremurus, a perennial rhizomatous mesophytic ornamental plant and one of the largest genera family Asphodelaceae, is distributed mainly in southwestern central Asia. We sequenced complete chloroplast genomes ten species corresponding to all sections genus analyzed their basic structure evolutionary relationships. The cp showed significant similarities size, gene sequences, classes, inverted repeat regions (IRs). genome Eremurus has typical tetrad structure, ranging length from 153,782 bp (E....

Hedysarum sunhangii is a new species described from the Babatag Ridge in Uzbekistan part of South-West Pamir-Alay (Central Asia). Morphological and molecular phylogenetic analyses were utilized to determine taxonomic position genus Hedysarum. This belongs subsect. Crinifera sect. Multicaulia it resembles H. criniferum nuratense, but can be distinguished by details its 3–4 pairs larger elliptical or ovate shaped leaflets, standard keel sizes.

Hedysarum is one of the largest genera in Fabaceae family, mainly distributed Northern Hemisphere. Despite numerous molecular studies on genus Hedysarum, there still a lack research aimed at defining specific characteristics chloroplast genome (cp genome) genus. Furthermore, interrelationships between sections based cp have not yet been studied. In this study, comprehensive analyses complete genomes six species, corresponding to Multicaulia, and Stracheya were conducted. The H. drobovii,...
