Protein S-nitrosylation is a reversible post-translational modification by covalent on the thiol group of cysteine residues nitric oxide. Growing evidence shows that protein plays an important role in normal cellular function as well various pathophysiologic conditions. Because inherent chemical instability S-NO bond and low abundance endogenous S-nitrosylated proteins, unambiguous identification sites commonly used proteomic approaches remains challenging. Therefore, computational...

O-GlcNAcylation is a ubiquitous post-translational modification of proteins that involved in the majority cellular processes and associated with many diseases. To reduce workload increase relevance experimental identification protein sites, O-GlcNAcPRED, support vector machine (SVM)-based model, was developed to capture potential sites. By virtue novel adapted normal distribution bi-profile Bayes (ANBPB) feature extraction method, O-GlcNAcPRED yielded sensitivity 80.83%, specificity 78.17%...

An all-fiber sensor for simultaneous refractive index (RI) and temperature measurement based on Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) is proposed demonstrated experimentally. The MZI consists of two bi-tapers a long-period grating. Two dips in the interference spectrum exhibit different responses to variations RI temperature, can be realized by means sensitivity coefficient matrix. Experimental results show that are -108.16 nm/RI 0.12 nm/°C, respectively.

The electroencephalogram (EEG) signals are important for reflecting seizures and the diagnosis of epilepsy. In this paper, a weighted k-nearest neighbor classifier based on Bray Curtis distance (WBCKNN) is proposed to implement automatic detection Fourier transform can time-domain characteristics signal into frequency domain, which display more useful information. WBCKNN well overcome sensitivity neighborhood size k has good robustness. Therefore, it classify EEG accurately different...

Abstract Background Current research has been focusing on non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) behaviors among adolescents with depression. Although family intimacy and adaptability are considered protective factors for NSSI, evidence supporting this relationship is lacking. Objective This study aims to examine the mechanisms operating in between NSSI adolescents. Methods A self-administered general demographic information questionnaire, Behavioral Functional Assessment Scale Non-Suicidal...

In the diagnosis of epileptic seizures, classification is an important step that directly affects results. Visual inspection Electroencephalogram (EEG) a relatively common analytic method epilepsy, but it costly, time-consuming and relies on experiences doctor. Therefore, development efficient accurate seizure automatic system suitable for clinical has become urgent task. order to better solve problem early bring timely treatment patients, comprehensive representation k nearest neighbors...

The stock market is a highly complex nonlinear movement system, and its fluctuation law affected by many factors, so the prediction of price index very challenging task. There are examples showing that Neural Network algorithms well suited for such time series predictions often achieve satisfactory results. In this paper, based on existing models, we proposed Regularized GRULSTM neural network model applied it to short-term forecast closing two stocks. experimental results show our superior...

Diabetes has become one of the seven major diseases affecting human death, so early prediction disease to prevent it is critical. Several existing works literature, however, make predictions about diabetes with few considerations missing and imbalanced data proper. To overcome these problems, in this paper, we propose an efficient Probabilistic Ensemble classification algorithm for handling class Imbalance Missing values (PE_DIM) which can effectively handle issue imbalances improve...
