Most stereo correspondence algorithms match support windows at integer-valued disparities and assume a constant disparity value within the window. The recently proposed Patch Match algorithm by Bleyer et al. overcomes this limitation of previous directly estimating planes. This work presents method that integrates into variational smoothing formulation using quadratic relaxation. resulting allows explicit regularization normal gradients estimated plane parameters. Evaluation our in...

Abstract The design phase has a significant impact on product's environmental footprint. To sustainable products effectively, designers can make use of concepts from circular economy (CE) research. A plethora conceptions the CE (CECs) with links to product be found in literature; however, we argue that they are incomplete and thereby miss effectiveness enabling design. aim this paper is threefold: (i) We analyze strengths weaknesses existing derive criteria for reconception. (ii) Based this,...

In this paper we give an evaluation of different methods for computing frame-to-frame motion estimates a moving RGB-D sensor, by means aligning two images using photometric error minimization. These kind algorithms have recently shown to be very accurate and robust therefore provide attractive solution robot ego-motion estimation navigation. We demonstrate three alignment strategies, namely the Forward-Compositional, Inverse-Compositional Efficient Second-Order Minimization approach, in...

In this paper, we present a system for controlling quadrocopter using both optical and inertial measurements. We show how to use external stereo camera measurements visual servoing, by onboard fusion at high rates, only natural features provided the vehicle without any active marker. our experiments, accuracy robustness of during indoor flights, as well flight disturbances.

The stereo correspondence problem is still a highly active topic of research with many applications in the robotic domain. Still state art algorithms proposed to date are unable reasonably handle high resolution images due their run time complexities or memory requirements. In this work we propose novel estimation algorithm that employs binary locality sensitive hashing and well suited implementation on GPU. Our method capable processing very high-resolution at near real-time rates. An...

In this work we propose a novel approach to the problem of multi-view stereo reconstruction. Building upon previously proposed PatchMatch and PM-Huber algorithm introduce an extension scenario that employs iterative refinement scheme. Our uses extended robustified volumetric truncated signed distance function representation, which is advantageous for fusion refined depth maps also raycasting current reconstruction estimation together with estimated normals into arbitrary camera views. We...

Abstract Current CE approach, and its many definitions, does not explicitly consider the interconnectedness of biological technological cycle. This paper uses state-of-the-art to articulate nuances encourage a more comprehensive understanding concept from perspective both cycles. The results address that acknowledged sustainably driven shifts resources between cycles are neglected in most state-of-the-art. Therefore, Dual Circularity (DC) definition is proposed further evaluated by three examples.
