Early diagnosis of subclinical ketosis is fundamental in the production management dairy cattle. Without evident clinical signs, this pathological condition causes important economic losses for farmer and significant health repercussions cattle that could develop an altered immune function. Laboratory techniques, although accurate, are expensive, invasive, cannot be used real-time monitoring entire herd. On contrary, analysis volatile organic compounds (VOCs) contained breath affected by...

Sowing is critical for successful crop establishment and productivity, particularly in precision agriculture management strategies. However, topsoil characteristics directly affect agribusiness maximization (i.e., crop-yield increase, machinery efficiency, operating-cost reduction) even the most advanced farming techniques. The excessive presence of coarse fractions or stones arable soil layers prevents modern from reaching optimal efficiency. This work focuses on sowing to verify whether...

The research aimed to create an augmented reality-based medium provide farmers with updated information on the environmental conditions inside greenhouses. Information microclimate variability, collected by a network of real-time transmitting nodes, was transmitted in graphical form. Overlapping spatial distribution temperature and humidity data images captured cell-phone camera resulted framed visualization greenhouse situation.
