This study was undertaken to determine the mechanism by which ammonium chloride (NH 4 Cl) inhibits stimulated acid secretion in bullfrog gastric mucosa. To this end, four possible pathways of inhibition were studied: 1) blockade basolateral K + channel, 2) ion transport activity, 3) neutralization secreted H luminal solution, or 4) ATP depletion. Addition nutrient 10 mM NH Cl (calculated 3 concentration = 92.5 μM and 9.91 mM) inhibited within 30 min. Inhibition did not occur channel activity...

This umbrella review summarized the factors influencing parents' hesitancy to vaccinate their children against COVID-19 and evidence reduce it. The analysis included PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Scopus articles published before March 22, 2024. It considered all meta-analyses that investigated parental vaccine hesitancy. Eight studies were included. Hesitancy rate parents from five continents was between 0.69 % 95.0 %. comprehensive synthesis in this shows originate four...

Introduction: Closed spina bifida (CSB) is a rare condition with challenging prenatal diagnosis. Herein, we assess the conventional two-dimensional (2D) ultrasound (US) combined three-dimensional (3D) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in diagnosis of CSB. Methods: In this retrospective study, included 20 cases fetal CSB confirmed by postnatal MRI, post-mortem pathological examination, or postpartum surgery....

Studying the characteristics of mammalian hoof colors is important for genetic improvements in animals. A deeper black color standard breeding purebred Australian White (AUW) sheep and this phenotype could be used as a phenotypic marker We conducted genome-wide association study (GWAS) analysis using restriction site associated DNA sequencing (RAD-seq) data from 577 (black = 283, grey 106, amber 186) performed utilizing mixed linear model EMMAX. The results GWAS demonstrated that specific...
