Neottiabifidus, a new mycoheterotrophic orchid, found in Maolan National Nature Reserve Guizhou Province, China, is described and illustrated here. According to Articles 53.1 of the International Code Nomenclature for Algae, Fungi, and Plants (Shenzhen Code), Neottiabifida M.N.Wang (as 'bifidus'; PhytoKeys 229: 222, 2023) is an illegitimate name, hence a new name Neottiamaolanensis M. N. Wang proposed here.
