Silicon Photomultipliers (SiPMs) are optical sensors widely used in space applications due to their high photon detection efficiency, low power consumption, and robustness. However, Low Earth Orbit (LEO), performance degrades over time prolonged exposure ionizing radiation, primarily from trapped protons electrons. The dominant radiation-induced effect SiPMs is an increase dark current count rate, which can compromise detector sensitivity. This study investigates the potential of thermal...
Abstract Flaviviruses are major human disease-causing pathogens, including dengue virus (DENV), Zika virus, yellow fever and others. DENV infects hundreds of millions people per year around the world, causing a tremendous social economic burden. capsid (C) protein plays an essential role during genome encapsidation viral particle formation. It has been previously shown that C enters nucleus in infected cells. However, whether exhibits nuclear export remains unclear. By spatially...
In this work, photon bunching from LED light was observed for the first time using SiPMs. The signature with a significance of $7.3~σ$ 97 hs data. spectrally filtered 1 nm bandpass filter and an Etalon to ensure temporal coherence field its measured be $τ_C = (13.0 \pm 1.3)$ ps. impact SiPM non-idealities in these kinds measurements is explored, we describe methodology process analog waveforms event selection used mitigate non-idealities.
