This paper presents the design, prototype engineering, and initial testing of a relatively low-voltage, high aspect ratio electron gun for versatile pulsed power applications. The sheet beam, diode is designed (23-25) kV voltage 6 µA/V1.5, as required x-band klystron, part compact Klylac delivering beam energy in MeV range. was engineered, built, tested using Scandinova M1-0.5 modulator. Beam loss on anode aperture evaluated from transient waveforms equivalent circuit modeling.
