Magneto-optical characteristics of a new magneto-active material, (Tb(1-x)Hox)3Ga5O12 crystal, have been grown by the Czochralski (Cz) method. A high value Verdet constant was obtained at room temperature-namely, 214.9 and 77.8 rad·m-1 T-1 for 632.8 1064 nm, respectively. The Ho-doped terbium gallium garnet crystal nm is about 2 times higher than that crystal. High magneto-optical figure-of-merit makes it an attractive next-generation magneto-optics material high-power Faraday isolators.

High optical quality (Tb((1-x))Ce(x))₃Ga₅O₁₂ (TCGG) single crystal has been grown by the Czochralski method. The and magneto-optical properties of TCGG are analyzed in detail Verdet constant (V) is compared with that undoped terbium gallium garnet (TGG) crystal. presents a very high transmittance, particularly visible-near infrared (VIS-NIR) region, its V obviously larger than TGG VIS-NIR region. figure merit features point out superior characteristics respect to TGG.

A novel cationic polythiophene derivative, poly[N,N,N-trimethyl-4-(thiophen-3-ylmethylene)cyclohexanaminium chloride] (PTCA-Cl), has been prepared successfully and applied as a colorimetric fluorometric probe for the detection of anionic surfactants. In particular, new method polymerization derivatives is found, which not reported previously. The fluorescent response PTCA-Cl to surfactants have investigated by absorption emission spectroscopy. sensing interaction can be apparently observed...

Two novel water-soluble conjugated polymers poly{3-[1-(2-trimethylammoniumacetyl)piperidine-4-methylene]thiophene-2,5-diyl chloride} (PTAPT-Cl) and poly{3-[1-(2-trimethylammoniumbutyryl)piperidine-4-methylene] thiophene-2,5-diyl (PTBPT-Cl) have been synthesized via chemical oxidative polymerization applied as a colorimetric fluorometric probe for the detection of metal ions. Moreover, fluorescence ions using previously poly[N,N,N-trimethyl-4-(thiophen-3-ylmethylene)cyclohexanaminium...
