We propose and demonstrate a compact ultra-wideband pulse signal generator based on incoherent summation of phase modulation to intensity two lasers, which are located at the positive negative linear slope chirped fiber Bragg grating (CFBG) reflection spectrum. The relative time delay is derived from dispersion effect CFBG. By controlling lasers' on-off state, monocycle pulse, doublet can be obtained with central frequency 5.4, 6.2, 7 GHz fractional bandwidths 170.37%, 174.19%, 142.86%, respectively.
