This study examines the effect of seasonality by utilizing original individual, household level energy intake panel dataset three rounds surveys from rural lowland farmers in Central Highlands Madagascar. In this paper we utilize a nationwide dataset on plot-level rangeland health, which has not been used in previous studies the economic impact of degradation Mongolia. Taking account typical reverse causality between grass condition and pastoralists' activities, adopt 2SLS instrumental variable approach to identify farm performance welfare. We find that causes significant decrease livestock product sales, income, total paid-out costs. But do observe profit income households.
