In this article, we proposed an improved steady-state visual-evoked potential (SSVEP) paradigm and constructed SSVEP-based brain-computer interface (BCI) system to navigate the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in two-dimensional (2-D) physical space. We a modified method for evaluating visual fatigue including subjective score objective indices. The results indicated that SSVEP could effectively reduce while maintaining high accuracy.

The present study utilizes the significant differences in θ, α, and β band power spectra observed electroencephalograms (EEGs) during distracted versus focused driving. Three subtasks, visual distraction, auditory cognitive were designed to appear randomly driving simulations. of EEG signals four attention states extracted, SVM, EEGNet, GRU-EEGNet models employed for detection states, respectively. Online experiments conducted. extraction spectrum features was found be a more effective...

Abstract Driving behavior during turning is influenced by the driver’s cognitive state and decision-making ability, which are tightly related with brain activity, but relationship mechanism rather complex has not been fully studied. In this paper, a fusion analysis method of electroencephalography (EEG) driving data was proposed to explore correlation. The subjects were divided into three groups, namely conservative group, moderate group aggressive k-means++ algorithm. results Statistical...

Objective: The posterior parietal cortex (PPC) is involved in cognitive attentional activity, according to neuroimaging research. Its specific role the brain network responsible for attention need be further identified. Approach: In this study, an test (ANT) was designed. 1-Hz low-frequency repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) performed over right PPC. Behavioral and EEG data were analyzed before after stimulation. Main results: behavioral results showed that frontoparietal...

Brain-computer interface (BCI) had extensive application prospect in medical rehabilitation and other fields. Steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP) was one of the most widely used BCIs. But SSVEP disadvantages such as small instruction set low information transfer rates. In order to solve problems, this paper proposed a high- performance hybrid brain-computer that combined steady-state potentials eye tracking, which only six frequencies increase number sets 48. The task related...

Electroencephalogram (EEG) was used to analyze the mechanisms and differences in brain neural activity of drivers visual, auditory, cognitive distracted vs. normal driving emergency braking conditions. A pedestrian intrusion stimulus module three distraction subtasks were designed a simulated experiment, 30 subjects participated study. The common activated regions during different states included inferior temporal gyrus, associated with visual information processing attention; left...
