Linear voice coil motor (VCM) has the advantages of high precision and dynamic response, which fulfills requirements linear loading platform. In this article, a thrust double layer series magnetic circuit is analyzed designed. Based on 2-D FEM, ripple are optimized. Moreover, damping force support plate reduced by optimization material structure. Finally, VCM prototype with rating 2000 N manufactured tested, results have good consistency FEM results.
