Melanoma is a cancer type with high lethality, metastatic capacity, and limited therapeutic options. Different essential oils have been reported antitumoral potential. Thus, the oil (EO) of leaves C. floribundus was obtained by hydrodistillation analyzed GC-MS. The majority substances annotated were β-selinene, E-Caryophyllene, Premnaspirodiene. cytotoxic activity EO evaluated on three melanoma cell lines SKMEL-147, WM-1366, CHL-1, which are representative different mutation profiles.
