Abstract The Arabidopsis thaliana secretome was analyzed by the proteomic approach, which led to identification of secreted proteins implicated in many aspects cell biology. We then investigated change response salicylic acid and identified several involved pathogen response. One these, a lipase with GDSL-like motif designated GDSL LIPASE1 (GLIP1), further characterized for its function disease resistance. glip1 plants were markedly more susceptible infection necrotrophic fungus Alternaria...

Abstract Herein, 3D nanohybrid architectures consisting of MnO x nanocrystals, carbon nanofibers (CNFs), and graphene sheets are fabricated. ‐decorated CNFs (MCNFs) with diameters about 50 nm readily obtained via single‐nozzle co‐electrospinning, followed by heat treatment. The MCNFs then intercalated between sheets, yielding the ternary MCNF/reduced oxide (RGO). This straightforward synthesis process affords product on a scale tens grams. ultrathin CNFs, which might be promising alternative...

A refined additive manufacturing system of material extrusion type was developed considering the high-temperature conditions extruder and chamber. With this setup, a super engineering plastic material, named polyetheretherketone (PEEK), could be printed into three-dimensional (3D) parts without any delamination or warpage. To obtain maximum performance in terms mechanical strength, experimental studies were conducted thermal process parameters such as nozzle chamber temperatures. These...

The major components of tea may be significantly influenced according to the type fermentation, and consequently effects different teas will differ. We examined whether green fermented with Aquilariae Lignum (fGT) shows a stronger anti-diabetic effect than unfermented (GT) on mice 2 diabetes. To evaluate anti-obesity fGT, we assessed body weight, fecal excretion, serum leptin levels, exocrine pancreatic zymogen granule contents, periovarian fat weight adiponectin contents. Blood glucose...

This study evaluated the impact of partial shading on CuInxGa(1-x)Se2 (CIGS) photovoltaic (PV) modules equipped with bypass diodes. When CIGS PV were partially shaded, they subjected to reverse bias, leading formation hotspots and a possible occurrence junction damage. In module cadmium sulfide buffer layer, wormlike defects formed. The formed as soon shaded; caused permanent damage (wormlike defects) in module. Specifically, by window increased recombination decay solar cell properties....

Drop-in fuels are renewable alternatives that can be integrated into an existing fuel infrastructure without modification. Among these, synthesized from hydroprocessed lipids have garnered significant attention owing to their compatibility with petroleum-based diesel. In this study, we investigated the feasibility of hydrodeoxygenated insect oil (HIO), derived black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens; BSFL), as a drop-in for diesel blend. We provide in-depth insight into the electrochemical capacitive behaviour of multidimensional poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) nanotubes (mPNTs) with unique surface substructures, such as nanonodules and nanorods (NR). NRs–mPNT had a capacitance 153 F g−1 in acidic electrolyte, which corresponded to 73% theoretical maximum (210 g−1). Moreover, they showed 17% increase specific when coupled another pseudocapacitive component, namely, manganese dioxide (MnO2). MnO2–mPNTs were further...

Abstract Polypyrrole (PPy)/cellulose (PPCL) composite papers were fabricated by vapor phase polymerization. Importantly, the vapor-phase deposition of PPy onto cellulose was assisted employing different co-vapors namely methanol, ethanol, benzene, water, toluene and hexane, in addition to pyrrole. The resulting PPCL possessed high mechanical flexibility, large surface-to-volume ratio good redox properties. Their main properties highly influenced nature co-vaporized solvent. morphology...
