The mean survival time for a group of 166 patients with verified pancreatic carcinoma was only 7.5 months after diagnosis made. Bypass procedures helped relieve biliary and intestinal obstruction, but they did not alter the total significantly. Although oncolytic drugs roentgenotherapy increase time, these adjunctive measures may improve quality remaining life pain. These benefits are difficult to evaluate, their use must be tailored fit needs individual patient.
