The purpose of this study was to analyze the occurrence Toxoplasma gondii in samples ice cream made with açai (Euterpe oleracea) pulp. Fifty açaí pulp, purchased from 11 municipalities state São Paulo, were analyzed. Conventional polymerase chain reaction (PCR) performed primers TOX4/TOX5, and nested PCR (nPCR) carried out TgNP1/TgNP2. Of 50 evaluated, 1 (2%) positive according nPCR. molecular detection T. pulp serves as an alert need for continuing epidemiological vigilance detect zoonosis,...
Listeriosis is a zoonosis whose etiological agent the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes. Milk and dairy products are considered excellent substrates for development of L. Using conventional PCR, monocytogenes was investigated in 102 samples raw milk from bulk tanks small farms. Also, microbiological analysis performed positive by PCR. The primers such as PRS, LM1/LM2, inlA, inlC, inlJ were used spatial analysis. PRS indicated positivity 20.58%, inlC 21.57%. inlA LM1/LM2 negative. Our findings...
Endophytic fungi have been pointed out as a promising source of pharmacologically active substances, among compounds with potential anticancer action [1]. Here in, we carried chemical investigation and cytotoxicity tests Lasiodiplodia theobromae strain (MUB-65) isolated from the branches Myracrodruon urundeuva (Anacardiaceae), which is native tree Northeastern Brazil used an anti-inflammatory medicine. The fungus was grown in malt medium for 21 days afterwards, its broth partitioned ethyl...
