Abstract Lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) are toxic heavy metals commonly found in aqueous environments. Biochar as a green adsorbent generated from biomass feedstock may be used for effective removal of these metals. This study investigated the adsorption kinetics isotherms Pb 2+ Cd solutions at different pH by biochar prepared banana stem leaf (BSL-BC) 400 °C. Characterizations using scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffraction, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy showed that synthesized...
A bstract : Two biosensors for fermentation process control have been introduced, which were developed in our lab recently. One is an enzyme electrode‐based on‐line monitoring system glutamate and the other H + ‐ISFET‐based ENFET penicillin G control.
