Interfaces play a substantial role for the properties function structured magnetic materials and multilayers. Modeling functional behavior of requires treatment relevant phenomena at device level. Properties that arise from electronic structure spin dynamics atomistic level have to be properly transferred into continuum treatment. In this work we show how Co/Ru/Co three layers can simulated with theory micromagnetism, if interface coupling energies bulk intrinsic are derived results...

We report ferromagnetic ordering at $T_\mathrm {C}=1.3\,$K in the quasi-two dimensional magnet EuAl$_{12}$O$_{19}$ with large spins $S=7/2$. This state was characterized by magnetization and specific heat measurements experimental results were compared classical Monte Carlo simulations. They reveal a strong single ion anisotropy leading to an uniaxial spontaneous along $c$ axis. Furthermore application of magnetic field hard plane $ab$ reduces Curie temperature it reaches zero...
