Lightweight magnetic shielding room (MSR) requires less material, is lighter, more mobile and cost effective. It will provide a viable solution for portable biomagnetic measurement equipments. In this paper, semi-open lightweight MSR proposed based on the finite element method. uses 30% permalloy compared to conventional chambers. We analysed internal residual magnetism distribution of MSRs under different hole methods through simulation, which we optimized structure machined designed MSR....

Abstract Rectangular magnetically shielded rooms (MSRs) are favored for their construction simplicity and efficient space usage. However, current rectangular MSRs lack an effective shielding factor (SF) theoretical system due to inherent asymmetric geometry process defects such as door gap. Therefore, three-dimensional (3D) magnetic circuit method calculating the SF of is proposed in this paper. Firstly, model 3D established, three directions derived. Secondly, modified by introducing...

The aim of the present study was to investigate effect alkaline sludge fermentation products as a carbon source on nitrification process and performance. During operation biological nitrogen removal (BNR) system with mixture source, activities ammonia-oxidizing bacteria (AOB) nitrite-oxidizing (NOB) were inhibited at beginning. After 16 days, activity AOB began recover rapidly, but NOB still inhibited. specific nitrate production rate (SNaPR, N/VSS) decreased from 0.1791 g·(g·d)-1 0.0078...
