Abstract An improved simulation model (PCPF‐1) has been evaluated for the prediction of fate mefenacet in an experimental paddy field. This simulates and transport pesticide water top 1 cm soil. Observed concentrations surface soil exponentially decreased from their maximum 0.70 mg litre −1 11.3 kg , respectively. Predicted both were excellent agreement with those measured during first 2 weeks after herbicide application, but appreciably overestimated thereafter. The simulated losses through...

Abstract Rice pesticide concentrations in surface water along with hydrological balance and management conditions were investigated a paddy watershed of about 100 ha at the Sakura river basin Tsukuba, Japan, for 3 years from April 2002. Monitoring on different scales ranging plot up to determined importance associated rainfall events cyclic irrigation reducing discharge into aquatic environments. Surface drainage significantly increased as response greater than 1.5 cm day −1 . A total 16...

Monitoring studies revealed high concentrations of pesticides in the drainage canal paddy fields. It is important to have a way predict these different management scenarios as an assessment tool. A simulation model for predicting pesticide concentration block (PCPF-B) was evaluated and then used assess effect water practices controlling runoff from fields. The PCPF-B achieved acceptable performance. The applied constrained probabilistic approach using Monte Carlo technique evaluate best...

Experiments were carried out to verify the effectiveness of excess water storage depth (EWSD) in reducing runoff losses simetryn and thiobencarb from paddy fields upon appreciable rainfall events. A plot having an EWSD 2 cm was effective controlling with herbicide less than 1% applied herbicides. Meanwhile, a 0-cm lost 18.1 3.7% mass thiobencarb, respectively. Therefore, appropriate is essential during recommended 7-day holding period order completely hold inside field case rainfall.

A 2′-deoxycytidin-N4-yl radical (dC·), a strong oxidant that also abstracts hydrogen atoms from carbon–hydrogen bonds, is produced in variety of DNA damaging processes. We describe here the independent generation dC· oxime esters under UV-irradiation or single electron transfer conditions. Support for this σ-type iminyl provided by product studies carried out aerobic and anaerobic conditions, as well spin resonance (ESR) characterization homogeneous glassy solution at low temperature....

5G radio access network (RAN) with slicing methodology plays a key role in the development of next-generation system. RAN focuses on splitting substrate's resources into set self-contained programmable slices. Leveraged by function virtualization (NFV), slice is constituted various virtual functions (VNFs) and links that are embedded as instances substrate nodes. In this work, we focus following fundamental tasks: i) establishing theoretical foundation for constructing VNF mapping plan...

We presents a broadband, 1-bit reconfigurable transmit-reflect-array (TRA) design that is capable of switching between transmit-array and reflect-array modes to provide bi-directional beam steering. The proposed TRA unit cell uses two positive-intrinsic-negative (PIN) diodes switch four operating states realize phase resolution co-polarized radiation in both the reflection transmission modes. To same polarization for backward forward radiation, acts as cascaded <tex...

Abstract Background Cashew nut shell is a by-product of cashew ( Anacardium occidentale ) production, which abundant in many developing countries. liquor (CNSL) contains functional chemical, cardanol, can be converted into hydroxyoxime. The hydroxyoximes are expensive reagents for metal extraction. Methods CNSL-based oxime was synthesized and used to extract Ni, Co, Mn from aqueous solutions. extraction potential compared against commercial extractant (LIX 860N). Results All metals were...
