Efficient solid-state emitters developed by a new approach are described. While emission from triphenylamine (TPA) and its dimer (DTPA) is weakened aggregation, attaching tetraphenylethene (TPE) units to the amines boosts their efficiencies up 100% in aggregate state without harming hole-transport properties. The resultant 3TPETPA 4TPEDTPA luminogens show excellent electroluminescence performance. Detailed facts of importance specialist readers published as "Supporting Information". Such...

Whereas aggregation often quenches luminescence, the emission of a heterocyclic luminogen, 10-[2,5-bis(4-pentyloxyphenylcarbonyloxy)phenyl]-9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide (3), is greatly enhanced by aggregate formation. Crystallization further boosts 3, turning it from weak emitter in solution state to strong crystalline state. The 3 changed response exposure vapors volatile organic compounds (VOCs). morphology thin film reversibly and repeatedly modulated between...

High precision 3D LiDARs are still expensive and hard to acquire. This paper presents the characteristics of RS-LiDAR, a model low-cost LiDAR with sufficient supplies, in comparison VLP-16. The also provides set evaluations analyze characterizations performances sensors. work analyzes multiple properties, such as drift effects, distance color effects sensor orientation context perception. By comparing Velodyne LiDAR, we found RS-LiDAR cheaper acquirable substitute VLP-16 similar efficiency.

In organic light-emitting devices, materials with efficient electron-transporting properties, are essential. this report, oxadiazole-containing tetraphenylethene TPE-Oxa is synthesized and its optical physics electronic properties investigated. The dye almost nonluminescent when molecularly dissolved in solutions, but becomes highly emissive aggregated poor solvents or fabricated as thin films the solid state. A quantum yield of unity has been achieved film. Inherited from oxadiazole...

This paper presents the design, implementation and evaluation of SprintNet, a novel network architecture for data centers. SprintNet achieves high performance in capacity, fault tolerance, latency. is also scalable, yet low-diameter where maximum shortest distance between any pair servers can be limited by no more than four independent number layers. The specially designed routing schemes strengthen its merits. Both theoretical analysis simulation experiments are conducted to evaluate...

Galvanically isolated DC-DC converters play a significant role in power delivery under hostile conditions such as industrial automation, electric vehicles, and sensor interfaces, ensuring the safety reliability of devices. A regulation scheme transmitter (either pulse width modulation or hysteretic control) is needed for generating stable DC voltage various load conditions. Pulse (PWM) common Class-E amplifiers (PAs), adopted [1]. However, output Class-D PA cannot be well regulated by...

High-speed signal-free intersections are a novel urban traffic operation enabled by connected and autonomous vehicles. However, the impact of communication latency on intersection performance has not been well understood. In this paper, we consider vehicle coordination at with latency. We focus two questions: (i) how to ensure latency-resiliency algorithm, (ii) affects intersection's capacity. trajectory-based model bounded speed uncertainties. Latency leads uncertain state observation....
