Low-complexity windowed discrete Fourier transform (DFT)-based minimum mean square error (MMSE) channel estimators are proposed and analyzed for both the interpolation noninterpolation cases orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) mobile communications systems. In method, frequency domain data windowing is used to reduce aliasing errors case get better noise filtering performance case. The time MMSE weighting also suppress cases. Moreover, optimal generalized Hanning window shape...
In this paper we propose a novel wireless scheduling algorithm for delay-sensitive (DS) and best-effort (BE) traffics. Unlike the majority of previous scheduling, where links are modeled as having only two states, our is applicable to with multiple states. For DS flows, capable providing statistical delay violation bounds. Such bounds derived, analytically, using idea service envelope. BE new notion fairness, called long-term link-quality weighted outcome-fair, which believe more suited...
With the deployment and commercialization of fifth-generation (5G) mobile communication network, access nodes data volume wireless network show a massive blowout growth trend. Taking beyond 5G (B5G) edge intelligent as research object, based on deep integration storage / computing communication, this paper focuses theory key technology system transmission, so to effectively support related applications B5G in future. This analyzes status storage, studies real field distributed system,...
The paper describes an error feedback loop for performing the data-aided (DA) sampling clock synchronization in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. algorithm is derived from joint maximum likelihood (ML) estimation of sample timing and carrier phase AWGN channel. It shown that variance proposed asymptotically equal to Cramer-Rao bound (CRB).
Space division multiple access (SDMA) is a promising solution for the significant increase of system capacity and spectral efficiency in wireless LANs. To make more robust against detrimental effects frequency selective fading channels, combined OFDM/SDMA based WLAN has been previously proposed. In particular, it shown that MLD (maximum likelihood detection) best SNR performance compared with other detection schemes such as LMMSE SIC (successive interference cancellation) ones. However,...
Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) has been adopted as the physical layer transmission technology in IEEE 802.11a standard, where Fourier transform is used demodulation. However, because of effect "spectral leakage" discrete transform, narrowband interference spread spectrum, thus, strongly impacts adjacent subchannels. Receive window function was proposed previously to suppress narrow band spreading OFDM systems. We take symmetry long preamble frame into account and propose a...
Due to the broadcast nature of wireless transmissions, overheard signals can be exploited in multi- hop networks so as improve network performance. It has been shown that energy accumulation and information are two main approaches utilize multiple signals. However, how jointly accumulate multi-hop is still unknown. In this paper, we propose a new rateless coded relaying scheme linear networks, where accumulated by superimposing rateless-coded packets generated from same bits using different...
Currently, massive data communication and computing pose a severe challenge on existing wireless network architecture, from various aspects such as rate, latency, energy consumption pricing. Hence, it is of vital importance to investigate active transmission for networks. To this end, we first overview the rate transmission. We then latency transmission, which particularly important applications monitoring services. further spectral efficiency battery-limited Internet Things (IoT) After...
The development of ultra wideband (UWB) communications Is impeded by the drastic transmitted power limitations imposed regulation authorities due to "polluting" nature these radio emissions with respect existing services. In this work, uncoded adaptive modulated MIMO-OFDM benefit from both multiple transmit/receive antenna diversity order and exploiting multipath UWB channel It is used enhance link robustness through transmitting more information over subcarriers better SNR. Simulations...
In this paper, we consider space time spreading in the forward links of a MC-DS-CDMA system when random signature sequences are used. The performance with different diversity order has also been analyzed. numerical results show that considerable gain can be obtained by transmit active user number is relatively small. As users increases, will decrease. It suggests it require multiuser interference cancellation large.
In this paper, a code construction method of irregular low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes is presented, which facilitates the hardware implementation belief propagation (BP) decoders and leads to low error floors as well. To verify effectiveness construction, an FPGA-based decoder designed implemented, where novel non-uniform quantization scheme for BP decoding used, so that performance loss compared infinite-precision less than 0.1 dB. The throughput can reach high 50 Mbps.
Differential space-time modulation (DSTM) proposed by [B.L. Hughes, Nov. 2000] has been proved that it does not need to change the constellation and implementation complexity is very low, compared with given Tarokh [July, 2000]. However, performance of DSTM over correlated Nakagami channels was given. In this paper, we investigate it, where Q.T. Zhang are employed. We first check accuracy channel fading parameters coefficient variations on DSTM.
A new distance metric is proposed to design optimal multilevel codes/parallel decoding of levels (MLC/PDL) system. Combining the constellation's intra-subset and inter-subset distances jointly, describes not only difference between points in same subset, but also subsets that include corresponding points. The reflects real distinction validity proven through a series simulations including 8PSK with Ungerboeck (1982) partitioning (UP) block (BP), respectively. On basis metric, we an MLC/PDL...
Pragmatic trellis-coded modulation (P-TCM) scheme uses the same single coder and decoder for various codes which have a performance comparable to that of Ungerboeck on linear Gaussian channel. The Rician fading light shadowed channels rate 2/3, 64-state P-TCM code is studied. Upper bounds, lower bounds asymptotic approximation bit error (BER) with both coherent detection differential are estimated. Computer simulation results also given. show there about 3.4-5.2 dB coding gain this above...
We investigate the effect of error events length on performance TCM over wireless channels by using generating function. Some numerical results have shown that is dominated with first few shortest lengths when signal to noise ratio (SNR) in reasonable ranges practice. For some cases, not same associated free Euclidean distance an AWGN channel. Likewise, may be having a Rayleigh fading These provide us new way estimate or predict for given code channels.
