Abstract We report a unique multiyear L-band microwave radiometry dataset collected at the Maqu site on eastern Tibetan Plateau and demonstrate its utilities in advancing our understandings of observations land surface processes. The presented contains measurements brightness temperature by an ELBARA-III radiometer horizontal vertical polarization, profile soil moisture temperature, turbulent heat fluxes, meteorological data from beginning 2016 till August 2019, while experiment is still...

Abstract Solar energy, as an environmentally sustainable power source, is gaining increasing popularity worldwide, driving a surge in the number of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants. China, which has prominent role this domain, requires continuous updates to its PV plant data for spatiotemporal analyses. However, there remains absence comprehensive and timely dataset plants across leaving installation dates other crucial attributes analyses underexplored. This study leverages Sentinel-2 primary...

High-temporal-resolution inundation maps play an important role in surface water monitoring, especially lake sites where bodies change tremendously. Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) that guarantees a full time-series monitoring due to its cloud-penetrating capability is preferred practice. To date, the methods of extracting and analyzing have been widely discussed, but method refined by frequency map distinction from different datasets not fully explored. In this study, we leveraged Google...

Introduction Soil microorganisms are an important component of soil ecosystems with indispensable role in forest ecosystems. We analyzed the microbial diversity birch secondary formed by natural restoration or artificial reconstruction after interference burning, clear cutting, and gradient Betula platyphylla Suk undisturbed Greater Khingan Mountains China. Methods Illumina high-throughput sequencing technology was used to analyze characteristics community during process caused different...

It is crucial to investigate the characteristics of meteorological drought in Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei (BTH) region improve accuracy agriculture and water resource monitoring management. In this study, using instrumental observation data from 85 stations BTH during 1961–2023 derived National Meteorological Information Center, we first calculated comprehensive index (MCI) analyzed spatiotemporal MCI. region, MCI intensity May June was most severe intraseasonal variation. The trend decreasing...

Mixed pixels often hinder accurate cropland mapping from remote sensing images with coarse spatial resolution. Image super-resolution reconstruction technology is widely applied to address this issue, typically transforming coarse-resolution into fine resolution images, which are then used generate fine-resolution land cover maps using classification techniques. Deep learning has been for image reconstruction; however, collecting training samples difficult mapping. Given that the quality of...

Based on 2011–2020 panel data for China’s coastal cities and provinces, this study used the entropy method Theil index to measure marine environment quality (MEQ) construct MEQ indicators. We heterogeneity in regional a geographic detector model explore driving factors of MEQ. Our resulted following findings: (1) increased waves, but overall was relatively low, forming spatial distribution pattern high north south, low east. Moreover, polarized between provinces. (2) Regional showed...

In this study we examined the linear decomposition and relationship between SMAP observed Polarization Ratio into surface soil moisture vegetation. Temporal regression, per each pixel, is performed to estimate coefficients. Variances (explained variance) in PR predominantly dominated by dynamics of degrades with increasing vegetation amount. Although PR, itself, high arid semi-arid regions, due lack dynamics, explained variance very small.
