This paper describes a test method for distance relays using an advanced open-loop digital simulator. Derivation of signals during prefault and fault, procedure are introduced. It is demonstrated that the generating applying them to relay under directly affect results. Prefault voltage current also very important factor. The decaying DC offset considered as well. Test results five different this new presented in paper. demonstrate practical benefits method.
In the monitoring of cable fire, it is great significance to be able conduct early fire warning, which requires that sensors have high sensitivity vapors at low temperatures. this study, WO 3 thick films modified with Au, Pd, and Pt single or bimetallic nanoparticles were fabricated via magnetron sputtering. Gas utilizing these materials exhibited significant response low-temperature vapor emitted by YJV22 YJY23 cables. Among them, Pd/WO -20 demonstrated a value 20 81[Formula: see text]C...
The modular multilevel converter (MMC) gradually turns into one of the most appropriate topologies for high power applications due to its modularity and low harmonic distortion. As submodule (SM) fails, SM capacitor voltage average value in faulty arm will rise, which would cause unbalanced losses distribution among six arms MMC affects reliability MMC. This paper proposed a variable phase-disposition pulsewidth modulation (PD-PWM) frequency control method, can effectively realize balanced...
Modular multilevel converter (MMC) commonly uses modulation strategies such as phase shifted carrier pulse width (PSC-PWM) and nearest level (NLM). Compared with NLM, the output power quality of MMC PSC-PWM is better. PSC-PWM, switching loss junction temperature devices NLM strategy are lower. Combining advantages strategies, this paper proposes a hybrid strategy, according to probability distribution wind speed in farm, active thermal control realized by appropriate which effectively...
A finite transform based algorithm has been developed for digital distance protection of power system transmission lines. This paper presents the investigation results performance affected by sampling rate and window length. Improved both operating speed reach accuracy can be achieved optimum selection these parameters.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
